Now to receive messages from the Coconut
Telegraph. Text a message to 40404, the
message should read- FOLLOW
GPBOARDSPORTS
That’s it!
Now every time a message is sent over the telegraph your
will receive a message of where the wind is blowing, where
to go, and sometimes who is riding there.
To send
a message to be broadcast over the telegraph...
Start
you message with “Coconut” then text your location, the wind
conditions and how many kiters are there to “228-760-0252”.
Please end your message with your name if possible as I will
know who is sending the message and it is legitimate.
Remember
standard text messages can only be 160 characters
long and the Telegraph messages can be only 140, so
please be brief and to the point.
I recommend
you program the number into your phone for quick access to
text conditions.
Please
remember this service is driven by “you” the kiters and
windsurfers, and will allow you to ride more often and with
more of your friends.
Please be
aware if I receive false wind reports or info, we have a
right to ban you from the service, so please use it wisely.
Also from
time to time Gulfport BoardSports will send messages out on
special deals on equipment, but we will not spam flood your
message box with them.
To turn off
the telegraph text OFF GPBOARDSPORTS to
40404
You will be able to receive
coconut telegraph messages 2 different ways of your choice,
via the twitter website or by text message to your phone.
The preferred method would be via text messages to your cell

for only a certain amount of texts a month and or charge for
every text received.
