RIDER NOTE: For the Pros, not the Joes... The 2025/26 EVO D/LAB was redesigned for "Advanced" riders dedicated to fully powered big air loops. MACkite does not recommend this kite for beginner or intermediate riders with limited flying and looping experience/skills. This kite does not fly like the 2023/24 EVO D/LAB model. Out of the box it has a much more aggressive feel and flight characteristics.
DESIGNERS NOTE: Per Duotone's designers, this kite was designed with pivotal tuning in mind and tuned to have heavier back line tension for quicker loops. Bar tuning is required for more traditional Evo Freeride flight characteristics. They have recommend having 2" of trim pulled in or 2-3 click of the click bar so it flies more on its front lines to avoid back stalling. Alternatively adding a short pigtail to your rear lines also does the same thing and detunes the 2025/26 Evo D/LAB for a more forgiving feel.
