With the v3, our goal was to deliver the
kind of performance riders associate with
high-end materials such as Aluula,
without adding that cost.
We focused on increasing canopy skin
tension and refining the airfoil profiles,
resulting in earlier take-o, beer lift
through lulls, and improved upwind
eiciency.
We also reduced tip twist so the wing
stays more balanced overhead during
tacks and flags cleanly when depowered.
Refinements to the leading-edge dihedral
improved overall stability and control.
The v3 has been extensively tested in
Maui and Tenerife, and we are confident
in its performance across a wide range of
conditions.
